Residents are encouraged to help with the development of their own Care Plans wherever possible and friends and family are invited to be involved in this process too. By working together, our residents retain control of their lives and play a major role in the delivery of their care plan.

  We all value private moments and our carers fully respect our residents’ rights to privacy

  Our residents choose when to get up, what to eat, and wear what they like each day

  We serve our residents’ needs so they remain in charge of their lives as much as possible

  Our residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their care plans and we know when to care and when to encourage independence
• Rights
  The individual rights of our residents are fully respected at all times and we listen carefully to their wishes
• Fulfillment
  We have dedicated activities officers that make life fun, interesting and fulfilling for all our residents, both inside and outside the home, taking into account their individual likes and dislikes
  

Fulfilled, Active and Happy Residents
Leading a fulfilling and active life is something that we want for all our residents. These activities encourage mental awareness, stimulate the senses and develop self esteem and social interaction with other people in the home. We have introduced technology into many of our care homes in the form of touch screen computers so that our residents may enjoy all the benefits of the internet, communicating with family members or just surfing the web.

We have a suggestion box in the hallway of each of our homes so that both residents and their families can suggest changes to improve the service we provide. We want our residents to feel completely at home and in charge of their lives and we do everything we can to achieve this.
